Three A-7A Corsairs flown by the Argonauts (VA-147) from the USS Ranger are shown setting a course for home after a bombing strike on targets in North Vietnam.

This group received its baptism of fire early in December 1967 under the leadership of Commander James C. Hill. The Argonauts lost only one A-7 during Hills tenure, which ended in April 1969.
